Have just been reading about them recently and was wondering what mods you guys have done to yours if any?

Cheers,
Paul.

Just the usual:

Samco boost & coolant hoses
VAG Parts HID headlight conversion
Factory Big Red Brake upgrade kit
Stainless steel braided brake hoses
Replaced all dampers & suspension bushes with new OE parts
Replaced WGFV with new OE part
Clear side repeaters

Cool what sort of power does that take you up to?

Anyone know what the 0-60 and 0-100 times would be with these mods?

Power is between 350 -375 bhp @ 6500rpm, depending on rolling road and how big a fan they can get forcing air through the intercooler. You get a lot of heat soak with repeated runs and then the power drops off at higher rpms.
Torque is 385 lbs ft @ 3200rpm, so the peak of the torque curve equates to about 80mph in 6th, so maximal motorway fun - all you have to do is flex your right big toe and away you go!

0-60 is 4.5 seconds, as long as you are a bit brutal with the clutch and don't fluff the gear change. 0 -100 in 12.5 seconds and standing 1/4 mile in around 13 s flat. A road test pilot may well get better, some of the magazines were getting 4.8 s, 13.1s & 13.6 s respectively in standard cars (315bhp) when it was launched back in 1994, but then they were not worried about the longevity of the clutch/drivetrain.
Importantly with the brake upgrade kit (big reds from the 993TT) they are up to the job of stopping it. However, the standard barke setup if you use Ferrodo DS2500 pads is almost as good.
