How do I access the timing functions in VAG-COM or is it only available in the Beta version?
Thanks

Mark,
From here, http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/tour/open_screen.html click on Advanced Measuring Blocks
Then you'll see the Acceleration button.
It's fully functional in the latest release 607

I tried it on mine yesterday and the acceleration button was missing
I didn't have the engine running, would that have made a difference?

Not sure about that Mark, although I guess that would make sense.
I'll try mine later...

Mark - I just spotted this in the detail :-
"When you have one or more measuring group with speed (km/h) in it, clicking on [Acceleration] will bring up the Acceleration Measurement window"

I wasn't going to use 0-60. Probably something like 50-80 in 3rd gear to do comparison runs without having to mess about with a fats database. I'm also not that interested in running the car to the red line as most driving I ride the torque.smurfbus wrote:log block 005
I found it pretty useless as the result is something like 4.0-4.6 sec
Thanks
