You may be able to see the spring in the picture. Going by part number on the box they should fit.

Maybe they aren't the correct ones in the box

They would fit, but they do not have the wear sensor and look like different material. I got some from Audi Friday night, £72 odd.

Came to fit them yesterday, and the current pads are only 2/3 worn (did 21k on them), so I shorted out the wear sensor which had come off, and put them back in. Will check them again a month or so.

They are about 7mm thick, how low can you safely take them?

I personaly don't like wear sensors. Too much trust can be placed in them. I wouldn't like to say how far the pads can be worn down. The thinner they get the more likely the friction materal is going to start breaking up. That said I've seens pads cracked through with loads of 'meat' left on them.

Suppose if they go too low, the piston could pop out ! Motorbike pads are only 7mm when new...not sure how low they go.

Is 2.5mm the legal limit for MOT?

I think I had a car fail because he said they were below 1.5mm but really can't remember to be sure. I doubt the piston will pop out if taken too far.

The rears on my car had been left too long when I got it. No material left on the inside pad. It had popped the seal though so I had to get a recon caliper. It had been for an Audi service less than 200 miles before!
