R32, R33 or R34?

He hit his speed limiter at 112mph cos skylines are Jap import cars. Is that rhyming slang? What does Jap rhyme with? oh yeah, cr... You then went on until you were travelling 50 mph faster than him cos you could?

Anyone tried an R34 out? Did I just ask that question or am I not thinking straight because I have just come off a 16 hour non-stop afternoon and night shift and I normally only work days!! My brain is gravy....nothing new there then!

In all fairness the R33 V spec is a superb motor, standard or modified.

A standard RS4 would struggle on any circuit to keep up with a standard R33 (driver for driver) never mind an RS2. Be interesting to hear the result [img]images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

It was an r33 v-spec, i got him off the line then he flew past me, [img]images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]i was shocked until he admitted to having 450 bhp. but he commented "your car is quick for standard" ! [img]images/graemlins/thumbs.gif[/img]

Have always had nuff respeck for Skylines R32 - 34's. One of very few series of worthy Rice Rockets.

RS2 are very quick to 30 - seem to remember they were tested and found to be quicker than a Maclaren F1 to 30.

most skylines have been modified,ithink you onley buy one to modify.the older ones look naf,some dont even look sporty,more like a jap family car.but the r33 v spec looks awesome with serious seats.
its not suprising the f1 is slower to 30mph as it must hit 60 in first gear,any way what would you rather drive.its only the money [img]images/graemlins/24430-audibash.gif[/img]

But its still a skyline. Down here in NZ, they are like Escorts. Seriously. Most are either GT-T's or non Turbo's, but there is a fair amount GTR's too. I would see one GTR every day, mostly R33/R32's, but probably 1x R34 every week too. Different cars every time.

Thats a problem, as I can get a 2001 Skyline R34 V Spec, with 10,000km, for 40% less that the same year and KM RS4. Technically, I should but the GTR, as its excellent bag for buck. But somehow, i still wanna buy the rs4! Call me stupid.
