It's got to be worth you buying a small car with a tiny engine so that she can't manage these speeds. That must be cheaper than all these fines and points.

Nope - all points collected via Lexus RX300, which is so slow it's painful. It must be said that all but three of them have been awarded in roadwork contraflows 30mph sections on 60mph stretches, snapped by temporary cameras. Didn't want to paint a picture of some loony speeding through tiny chocolate box villages with kite flying children skipping accross the road with ice lollies.
