Great - thanks. On my A8 I can also control much of the phone through the DIS and the M/F wheel. Is this the case on Audis' without sat nav? (I thinking or ordering a TTR with the phone but no sat nav).
Maserati GranTurismo GTS Auto, S3 Sportback, TT2 3.2 Roadster, Disco3 for the heavy stuff.

I'd quite like this. Where did you get it done? Audi dealer or independent installer? How much was it to buy and fit?

Is it time for another flurry of emails to CS? Anyone heard anything recently?

Nothing, and my bet is it will not happen until next spring judging by the time it has taken to sort the rest..

Dealers say it's impossible, but there's several independent installers who have done it MANY times now.

I helped someone out last week to fit his, but for a name of someone who is much more experienced than me, check the posts or PM me.

I've just swapped from a Nokia N70 to a Sony Ericsson K610i - the N70 kept dropping the Bluetooth connection which made it unusable. It also didn't copy it's phonebook or call lists to the Audi Bluetooth interface. the K610i does all of these - like a properly designed phone should!

Anyway, back to TMC - it appears that the Lamborghini software (yes, Lamborghini fit the same sat nav system, the RNS-E) DOES support TMC in the UK - at least according to a post over on tyresmoke.net.

If that's true then Audi UK have absolutely no excuse (zip, zero, zilch, none) for not getting a TMC capable DVD to us Audi owners before the end of this year (2006!).
