It may have gone unnoticed...... but this is not a club....and as Phil has already stated, we as a forum, get no benefit from standing out in the cold and wet, and the track is usually full of nutters on these days. No insult meant, but have been the last few years with old ur-quattro, and there are usually at least half a dozen stretcher cases by the end of the day, 200 quattro, sport quattro, ur-quattros and some RS4's spring to mind.
I have a banner here at home, 10 mins from CC if somebody wants to borrow it, will even throw in the cable ties to hold it up..........

If we do attend, there must be someone from the Crew present.

Did all these clubs/forums get invited? I haven't seen one for us.....

just my 2p
when i have been -- always thought how nice it would be to park in an area where all me buddies from the only forum i visit would be

namely RS246...

area for all the S models that go would not have to be that big because the event is not as big as others on the calender.

I'm going.

I could be wrong but I don't remember there being issues on the track last year and I was going round and round most of the day :) The Audi driving experience thing was unfortunate though.

The day was well organised overall IMO.

It certainly hasn't gone un-noticed Simon, and no-one is expecting anyone to 'man the stand'.

I think we need to re-work the orginal idea and just get some allocated parking - if we can get the banner then great, but most of us just want to meet up and have a chat. If ppl want to go around the track, then that's up to them.

Exactly. Having only owned my S4 for only a couple of weeks it would be good to look at what others have done to their cars and have a chat with some like minded people. I'm sure some allocated parking for 'forum' members wouldn't be too hard to arrange.

As the closest resident memeber of the crew, I would have gladly attended, if just to be there... no point in having a stand as we have nothing to sell.... mind you David T will sell you some stickers I am sure :bigblink: but it is the same day as several members will be heading to Spa/Ring for annual bash and I should be well on my way through France by then....
Its really up to Phil/John to OK and David if he is prepared to be there and be counted.....track part of it is no issue, and I am sure CC or the admins for this will give you a bit of designated grass to park on.....back end of the paddock is usually empty.........
But for insurance reasons it will not be a 'meeting', just a get together of like minded people who just happen to end up in the same place 8)

Agree with the majority. Not been to Audi Driver International, but on the back of going to the VW track day at Castle Combe in the summer, I booked the morning track day session weeks ago. If there was an area set aside for S & RS cars, that'd be superb.

Yep, I'll be there - hopefully I will have some new brakes on so I can venture out onto the track for the first time in the RS!

The usual - helmet, long sleves, trousers, towing eye and a spare pair of pants!

Oh, and a full tank of fuel!

Yes, voting is closed now but making the finals is cool. Thanks everyone for voting.

I'm looking into what rs246 does for this event and will post details here soon.
