Do all the electric windows work correctly?? If they are ok it may need a key recode.

If the windows do not work it sounds like some water has got into the unit.

The central locking unit is located in the boot under the o/s rear light.

does the central locking work when opening with the key, is anything else not working, ie, interior lights. if all is ok it might just need re-synching with the central locking controller by unlocking the car then pressing the button for about 5 seconds

if i try to open the doors with the key i have to beat the car to open the door before it locks it again then i have to turn ingnition on and then open all doors by the switch on the door really stressing me out now haha.

yeah the units are tight but i noticed under one of the connectors lots of blue dust looked like it was a burnt capicator
