I belielve these are a straight fit... but you may catch the wheel...
Its better to get RS6/+ disks as they sit a little further in towards the body. All you need then is an adapter for the caliper to bring it in so it matches the offset of the disc. This gives you extra clearance from the wheel which is good.

RS6 calipers + RS4 disks = straight fit.
RS6 calipers + RS6 (or RS6 +) discs = mounting bracket required = expense.
Go for RS4 disc, it is of floating type which is better and allows you to go with a carbon disc option.

I did it. They were a straight fit. Got the discs off of Philphotos on ebay for £500 and the calipers from quattro corner for about £700.bigstevex wrote:As the title really,

The brakes are immense - so much better than the standard items which are really left wanting IMO.
I have a lot of cars with big brakes and these rank amongst the best. I tracked the car recently and they grumbled but never faded one little bit.
Do it!!!!

I saw those calipers. They look a bit beaten up. Hope they clean up and work OK

Yeah me too, it was a good price.
I spoke with Doug again and he really things I should go with RS6 disks. RS4 would be a much simpler route - I just wonder if tehy will fit under my BBS CH's - Philipwalker seems to think it will all fit together no probs :-/

I saw those rs6 calipers too, they looked well knackered, i bet a bit of cleaning/paint and they will be like new though, can i ask what it was bid up to in the end?
RE: Re: Rs6 calipers and B7 RS4 discs, do they go together a
I paid £275... which is well under half what they would cost new. Will get them refurb'd - looks like they have just been sitting in a box full of calipers. I hope they come out looking all shiney & spanky! Cant wait
All in all end up costing me about £275+400+200 - not bad I dont think.
