Hi PhilT,

Is MItch from revo going to be there as I would like to give the Revo chip a go on me S4....so 2 RR's for me if possible.....stock and one when its remapped!!

Hi Tanoga,

Could you fit the short shifter at this RR, rather than next week...will me save the trouble of doing two north runs on the bounce....

Cheers..

Yes Mitch will be coming. Those of you who are getting remaps, I recommend that you have a short shift and DVs fitted at the same time. Who wants them?

I think if your tuning then some parts will require upgrading to a better standard etc etc

PhilT...why the DVs?

It's just the way things are generally done. I will ask Mitch if the new diaphram DVs are better than the piston ones.

It's up to you really... If you decide to keep the stock ones, then I suggest you buy a spare, just in case.

G- force is all well and good for you Torsen (old technology ) lot but they cant do Haldex cars so us with the S3's cannot join in. Nice if for the next RR day we pick somewhere that we can all go to.

Do we get a RS246 sticker?

I think we will probably start the day with Tim and Chris and then they can get the mods done while the rest of the RS4s go on. Probably best if we do your stock run after the RS4s and then your chipped run after the re-run of the chipped RS4s.

Of course you'll get a sticker .

turning somewhere....seeing its up North
What....... same can be said for the south.... infact up north the roads are better, faster and less busy! hehe........ so how comes S3`s only have these Heldex things and not RS4`s? i thought quattro was the same in all audi cars? I'm joking - wondered how long it would take someone to bite! I am big fan of Torsen - although according to Autocar the new S4 also uses Haldex...

Not a lot of point in putting my car on it then, being completely standard.........for the time being
I'd still like to come though.

It would be a good bench mark for the other RS4's that are going on the rollers as none of them are standard and G-Force would then have a better idea as to what the drive line power losses are.
