They always did like my car but in there mind it was just a "sporty family car" very practical indeed because for the week end my car was loaded with:barbecue, tente, food, Beer (a lot..) bags, the dog on the back...etc . So off we go and during the trip one of them couln't resist to "boot it" from time to time to test me, invitation of course for a little blast!! I did not react and did cruise nicely for a while till we did reached a very looooooooooooong empty double carriage way, well i had to make the point and obviously accepted his invitation.
I went next to him, we did slow down, droped gear in 2nd and well he was toated nice and proper !!! when i did engage the 6th i started to slow down and looked in my mirror well his car did look very small!!!!!!!!!! 
They still love there cars of course but now i can tell you they look my car in a different way
