What's going on here then?

Another supplier!

I know where I'll still be buying mine from.

Bound to happen, seen his site a few months ago

Apparently another owner of an Audi but not sure on his name

Well we still have our weekly deals here if people want them

I frankly dont want to offer 5% or 10% discount as on single items, dependant on the item and the cost of postage I can run at a loss

I am happy to offer 10% discount for collections at a meet for which I attend most.

The specials is my way of dealing with discounted product

Also his prices are the same as Meguiars set the RRP and dont encourage discounted reselling, although they cant stop it

Be interested to see if this Audi owner posts as much in the cleaning forums as I do, certainley never seen him on tyresmoke promotting Meguiars as I do, and i have a banner ad running that has a cost to it!!!

Appears to go under the name of John on AS.net.
I (like most on here and TSN) am happy with the prices, products and support we get from Bushy so I can't see there is any need to go looking elsewhere for the Meguires product.
Just thought the subject was worth bringing to everyones attention .

I'll stick with Bushy, plus from what I can see 'John' doesn't sell the legendary 'mitt of myrth'

Well John was a customer

Thats how he got into Meguiars, he actually is the guy from TDS computer and IT supply company and I did speak at length about carriage costs and he said he could do me the carriage and was happy to keep the stock for me too

It is now clear he has had an ulterior motive and has set a competitive site

Well done to him, I just feel gutted that I set him up with telling him what I do with the Meguiars

Hey ho,

Thats why his site uses flash, one of his customers obviously helped him set it up

Just wish he had come clean and been up front, could have let him have extremecarcare for a cut

never mind

live goes on

Thanks for all your support guys

Make sure you re-submit your site to the search engines and the more traffic you have the higher up you will be..!!

What's the URL to the competitor site (email it to me)? Didn't re-register with AS.net so I can't view the thread you reference ... and since I did Bushy's site, I'm just curious to see what his crafty competitor's site looks like. ;-)

Ah ... that one. Well, I wouldn't worry ... his site is too busy, cluttered and waaaay over uses Flash (most web surfers dislike extensive use of Flash as a primary site design element). ;-)

Did you get my email(s)?

Rob,

Just saw your comments,

Its only the home page that is flash orientated, once your in the site there is very little flash ie the navigation bar and I dont think thats too much....

Busy? Cluttered? please! Lets not start picking holes in sites.....

Anyway, thanks for your comments Rob they are all welcome
