Build weeks

Does anyone know the final stage after which you cannot change your order?

I'm being told that because my RS4 has been allocated a build week, the order is closed and not able to be modified?
Does that sound correct?

I would have thought that the order could be changed right upto the time that the car begins production? Obviously with a cut-off point prior to doing so.

The allocatded build week is in the middle of September and I just want a few options added. Nothing major like a colour change.

Your experience matches what I have just been told by my (Warrington) dealer.

They should be able to change simple options but the order is sealed once the allocation is made as the suppliers orders will have gone off already..... ie just in time delivery items will already have been made, so hence the cut off of allocation date.

Thats a bugg3r!
I'm sure all that would be involved is an email or phone call through to the manufacturing plant to modify the paperwork.

Oh well...
