Iraqi Dinar

Post by Tomson » Wed Aug 30, 2006 4:18 pm

Hi All,

Thinking of buying 1million of these as a fairly long term investment.

Am I mad?

Gamble, although not that big a loss if all goes tits.

Would be interested in any thoughts people might have as to pros and cons.

Thanks,

Tom

I think they are at 0.00007p each at the moment, on-line a mill would cost you about £500.00 through one of the many websites available

just did a search and it can even be around £400 but think about it, if it goes up 10%, it'll only be £440 in the end... and I dunno if it'll go up 200% or more any soon (less than 10 years)...

Indeed, if of course it does not go down again and again. Or even if it actually survives as the countries currency.

However the oil argument is a strong one for the economy, we all know it was the main reason the US got involved in the war in the 1st place.

even someone tuning Audis is meant to get some time off every once in a while! I've forgotten that a bit too often last year unfortunately....

...oooo you cynic! Mind you, wasn't the oil ministry the only government building not being rebuilt by Haliburton? .... cos they didn't bomb it?

Anyway, what about exchange commission etc - you'll need to take that into account. "Crap currencies acn go down as well as down, oh sorry I mean up". Anyway, what currency did Saddam have on him when he was caught... US$ not Iraqi doobries.
