New RS4 setup at realistic prices

Post by Nige_RS4 » Wed Aug 23, 2006 10:16 pm

This may be slightly against forum rules, but I wanted to share some great prices with you from an established UK buyer.

I've just picked up a set of the new RS4 8-pot calipers for £248+VAT each and £136.18+VAT for a full set of genuine pads. Postage was a realistic £9.95 too!

Remember, these are not group buy rates - I only bought one set, but they work out about 20% cheaper than vag-parts and about 100% cheaper than Stealer prices.

They also do the RS4 disks or RS6+ discs at heavily discounted prices.

New RS4 disks at £460 a pair (incl. VAT) - however there is still an unanswered query hanging over these disks, as Audi only lists one part number form them, which surely must mean one disc? If so, the vented airflow must be wrong on one side of the car???

Yes they do go the wrong way on one side, which is why MRC prefer to fit RS6 discs and a caliper bracket. I'd be interested to hear how well yours fit on the standard disc's if that what you plan to do. I have heard the pads overhang which also can't be the best solution. If they don't overhang then the standard B5 RS4 disc must be the cheapest good option
