lol - had that on my 2.8 quattro. Turned out to be the leads under the seat having a bad connection (common fault with the B5). Cleaned the contacts and hey presto - sorted!

I am in comms now with Rosstech about my one that vag-com.co.uk never managed to deliver. £260 later and 4 months, still nothing. So far Ross-Tech have been very helpful.

this is my second one but first came via the uk outlet not the us one so i guess i was lucky first time round- only to get it nicked later on.

you guest it -- MAF sensor.
in a garage they would of past it off as my imagination!!!
