I'd be interested in feedback.
I've got a 2003 RS6 Avant chipped to 500 bhp and MTM Movit brakes front and rear. Great car .... good load capacity, awesomely quick in straight line
BUT
I have test driven a new RS4 saloon .... fantastic power delivery, much smoother than RS6 as no turbo lag, suspension much more adept to UK roads but its a smaller car ...
Suggestions / feedback would be appreciated ....
Do I change to an RS4 which is so much more a driver's car ?
Should I buy a new RS4 Avant ?
RE: Should I buy a new RS4 Avant ?
Well all I can say is, I am doing just that. My RS4 Avant should be at the dealers on Monday/Tuesday. I go on holiday on Wednesday so looks like I will wait for the 1st September to take delivery.

Surely it comes down to whether you need the extra space in the RS6 or not? I'm sure most RS6 owners would be driving something else if they had no requirement for a large car to transport families/dogs/luggage etc.
The RS4 would be great for a single person or couple, but is IMO too small for a proper "family" car.

If you drive mainly in a straight line or do lots of continent cruising, then I think the RS6 is the better bet. Turbo cars have much moer more torque too which is better suited to road driving as opposed to track days. Also agree, for a family the RS4 is not really big enough.
