thats not why I'm posting. Saw a new S6 being PDI'd, bonnet up engine running, dodgy service guy reving it to the gathered crowd of Audi employees. Sounded great, looked good in black as well, but very understated apart from the V10 badge on the side and the four exhausts.

How much are they anyway?
RS4 Straight out the box - gone :-(

S6 5.2 V10 Avant (It's for the kids you know ;-))

Dunno what the price tag is but worth reading latest issue of Audi magazine, have a whole article on S6 and S8. Also writeups on the RS4 incl. the N'ring experience that i guess they had as a one-off last year. I'm told Audi will not offer that this year as they were not able to book a slot on the track. Pity. Anyone done the RS4 N'ring experience?

Answering my own question, from £ 55K. That's a lot of car for the price of a RS4.

Does anybody know about the availability of an S6 avant? I am close to canning my RS4 Avant order as my build week is now indicated as week 45, and frankly I would like a car in the next month or so. If anybody has any leads I would love to know!

Not sure, but I don't think you'd get one that quickly, import maybe?
RS4 B5. Where it all started.
RS6+ Never to be replaced.
Replaced by: 997 Turbo. Didn't like.
Replaced by RS6. I like(d).
Land Rover Defender. Not as nippy.
Back with C6 RS6
And again C7 RS6

S6 is likely to have poor demand and residuals. It also doesn't have the DRC of the RS4 or air suspension of the S8 so will rattle your brain a bit.

It needs a 'R' prefix anyway.. :twisted:
