Luggage cover
Can anyone tell me if this is just a standard Audi 80 part and what colour it should be in. Could do with the info ASAP.

RE: Luggage cover
Yes
Black
Said to cost a fair amount via main dealers so its worth keeping an eye on the S2 forum and this one for people selling them. Guess e bay is another option

Yes, Audi do charge a LOT of money for a replacement. About £309 + VAT as I recall. I was looking for one recently and bought one from TOTS.ch who is a specialist RS2 breaker in Switzerland. Suggest having a look at his website and emailing him. I got a good price for mine and was delivered within 2 weeks. I didn't find one on eBay in 2 months of looking.
The only catch/word of advice is to email tots in German as you may not hear from him otherwise. As I do not speak German and he does not speak English I found emailing using the latest version of outlook VERY helpful.
1). Write email in English
2). Go to the tools menu, lanuguage and translate option
3). Select American (tsch, tsch) translate to German, press go
4). Wait for the website to pop up with the translation, copy and paste
translated version into email and send, along with English text below.
I always found he responded within a day or two, and even had a go at replying in English! Otherwise you can again follow translate option as above!
Also, you can get google to translate his website too if you're having trouble browsing around.
Good luck!
One other thing, I found another chap who had one for sale in black, based in Sweden. His email is larsolalarsson@hotmail.com Lars-O was more expensive than tot's so I didn't go with him. In retrospect his may have been in better condition than the one I got from tot's had a small amount of frayed edges near the push button clips. Both 2nd hand though...
You pay your money and take your choice!
(BTW: I didn't find a single one for sale in the UK during my breaker search)

I obtained a very dirty one from http://www.4ringspares.co.uk/ for £50+vat in the end.
It has a few very minor frays on it but overall it was good value. 4ring were fairly helpful as well although from what I can see you get the parts warts and all- in my case filthy dirty and full of broken glass!
