Anyone running an S4 with 19" alloys??

Post by Joules » Sun Apr 27, 2003 4:01 pm

Heard something from the dealer saying that larger alloys wear bushes etc more rapidly. Just wondered if anyone was running on 19" wheels and how it affected or improved the car.

I have just got back from a meet in Buxton and the std 17" didn't do too bad ..... wondering if there are any tangible benefits in an upgrade to larger wheels??

Ouch!! is yours lowered ?? I guess with the softer suspension on mine this is perhaps not advisable. However your tyres are a lot wider.

Tweaky, pleae post some pics of your 19"s if possible - stick 'em in the gallery so they don't get lost in old threads.

Cheers, Nige.

Tweaky,

What size tyres are you using? and did you need spacers to lift the inside of the wheel away from the suspension arm?

Looking forward to those pics

Heard from a wheel specialist that you can get 19" RS4 copies now 8" 235 x 35 x 19 35mm offset.

I guess these would look wicked!!
