Nice wheels Greg . I'm also looking for the same wheels. very nice for my wintertires. First I had s2 wheels for those tires, but I go for a bigger brakesystem...so i need new 17" winterwheels..

Greg, I agree they do look good. So good in fact I am going to look for a set myself, rather than buy your S2 Avus
sorry Jim

looks like ive shot myself in the foot a bit doesnt it not too worry, you just need to make sure you fit the right tyres because the 255/40 17's that are used on the S6 are too big for the s2 and too wide.

so ive got a set knocking around to sell at a good price ?

Greg, just spoken to a supplier who reckons, from the DriveRight data book, all S6s had an offset of ET42.

Can you confirm that your S6 wheels had ET35 stamped on them.

Cheers Jim

HI Jim,

Those S6 wheels have an offset of 35mm, they're 5/112 8J x 17" ET35.

yup thats the spec. I wasnt aware that different years had different size's in that style of wheel.

isnt the ET42 for the S4 rather than the S6?

Yep S4 are ET42, which is what I said to the supplier (who shall remain anonymous to cover his own arrogance) at which point he told me he had been in the wheel business for 20 years+ and knew everything there was to know about Audi wheels, thats when I said goodbye

Cant say i blame you, if they are too arrogant to admit that they can be wrong could have problems later if any problems too.

are you after the S6 wheel's or RS4 style now?

I like the Avus style on the Coupe so S6 are the only wheels I'd change the stock wheels for.
