I've just fitted Eagle F1's - replacing the factory standard Continentals.

First impressions (all dry) were "so what ?", they feel slightly softer than the (worn-out) Conti's. After a few days I started to use them a bit more in anger (we dont have many roundabouts in Holland !), and what now strikes me is the feeling of progression. Sure they feel soft compared to the Conti's, but once I started to wind it up the grip just kept on coming and I've been coming out of corners smiling and with a great feeling of confidence.... so I guess 'soft' feeling doesn't == no grip.

I'm certainly nowhere near the limits of the tyre (yet) and like them a lot. Maybe one day I'll mess around with the pressures a bit and see what happens (splat !?)

Can't comment on track- or wet- use though.

Toyos are much quieter on her B5 ( quattroT Sport)
Fcatory fitted Rossos
would Nero be better ( want grip not so worried by mileage)?
