Audi S3 vs. Audi A3 TFSI

Post by coolrgy » Sat May 27, 2006 4:13 pm

Hello everybody

I'm in the procces of buying a new car but i have found myself in a pickle. I can't decide between a 2001 Audi S3 and a 2006 Audi A3 2.0 TFSI Quattro, What do you guys think??

I like the fact that the S3 is a special car, but it's also and old car..

And no i cannot afford the comming S3, cars in denmark are taxede with 180% so a Audi A3 TFSI alone is 45.000£!!!

Hope you can help

Regards

hells bells how much TAX  and i thought the uk was bad...

go for the new car and get it chipped.. will only be about 20BHP less than a chipped the S3.

can you not get a second hand S3 from somewhere else and import it cheaper?

S3 is a more sporty model than the new A3, but of course the new S3 should be here soon.

I've heard that Audi lower the price of their cars for the Danish market to try to offset the Danish 'crippling' new car tax... In fact that was a popular country to import cars from to England a while ago due to this.
M3 CSL - Silver Grey, a few options.
