strangely enough the Keonigzegg has just done a 1:17 around the top gear test track after the addition of a rear spoiler to increase the downforce. now i'm not one to criticise but a far cheaper option would have been the ratchet strap mod.............................

Roof rails..............excellent thinking. Harry, take note, that's where you went wrong, the helium should have been strapped down externally.............................

due to the potentially gravitous nature of anything that tuning god says, i have been left acting as a middle man between yourselves and the great man, and will be posting responses to any tuning related questions you may have.
@shineydave
After recent deliberations with the tuning god it has become clear that your ratchect strap suggestions are fudamentally flawed. Firstly you would have to put stuff into your boot, which goes directly against the ethos that tuning god is trying to promote (may i remind of you of the 3rd of tuning gods ten commandments "thou shalt keep thine cubby holes empty from such performance sapping and weighty items as sunglasses and CDs). Tuning god has suggested that regular vaccing of the carpet in the boot has added up to 12.7bhp to other vehicles as the drag coefficient of the interior is reduced, and feels this would be the way for you to go. Needles to say a well vacced carpet can add to the torsional rigidity of your vehicle, so please bear this mod in mind.
@harry
Tuning god would like to start by offering his sincerest commiserations at the recent loss of your vehicle.Indeed tuning god has been into 3 figures numerous times on his own driveway situated outside his terraced house in Grimsby, and knows the rush you can get from a combination of highspeed motoring and helium. Needless to say this can often end in disaster, however every cloud has a silver lining. Tuning god has suggested that you stop being such a tart with your bi turbo v6s, and look into buying a real mans car, an M3 with your payout.He has provided this photo to give you an insight into what he has in mind.

Firstly you would have to put stuff into your boot
but would the ratchet straps not have an effect purely by clamping the carpet to the floor in a more rigid state. obviously the carpet and floor are components of the vehicle just as the seats in TG's sxi Corsa are. i am of the opinion it would also add torsional rigidity (i love that phrase) to the vehicle which could also be tuned by varying the clamping force.

"I had the idea of filling the boot with a helium balloon", SEEN THIS DONE A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO. WAS IN A VOLVO T5R was a big ass balloon, made no difference to 1/4 mile time. LOL

never mind keeping the paintwork clean, I've painted my car with Teflon...wow! I can't believe the difference it has made.
