New S4 owner in need of advice

Post by stuartmartin » Wed May 24, 2006 8:07 pm

Hi all. Just traded in a 3.2 V6 A3 S-Line for a 2006 B7 S4, what a car ! V8 power, 4 door saloon and an exhaust note that actually makes you wind down the windows just to hear it purrrr. Completely standard/stock for now, until I can afford a wheel/tyre upgrade and get her lowered. Would like to get the RS4 look, anyone know what parts you have to change on the front end to get that "black widow" look ? Also appreciate any advice with regard to will RS4 wheels fit on, 235/40/18's on at the moment, will the 255's fit. I would really like a drop of 25 to 30mm with a decent ride quality, but firm when pushed.
Appreciate any help, I'll post pics of before and after with feedback.

Stuart.

RS4 Grille Part Numbers

Post by stuartmartin » Mon May 29, 2006 8:57 am

Contacted Audi, managed to find the part numbers for the RS4 front Grille with brushed aluminium surround (W8E0 853 651 L3 FZ) and the two RS4 foglight grills, (W8E0 807 681 E3 FZ and W8E0 807 682 E3 FZ)
Ordered all 3 parts, cost £120 inc postage. Apparently they fit, and its an easy job, so I'll photo and post pics of before and after.

I wouldn't spend much on trying to get an RS4 look. They all look so similar anyway.

Good luck with it. It'll be interesting to see how hard/easy it is to do.
