95 Vs 97 fuel and CFs

Post by Paulm » Tue May 23, 2006 4:58 pm

My wife drives the car while I am offshore she fills with 95 as only really does the school run etc. When I come home I fill with 97 as that is all we have up here.

I logged the Cfs on 95 on my way to the filling station (fuel gauge hitting the red) On the way home I logged again and I must say there was little or no diff at all in Cfs. I did about 20mins on the way home.

Has anyone else tried this and if so what diff did they notice?

P.S I brimmed the tank with 97

cheers

I think that the ecu may take a while to re-learn with the different fuel.

I would try it again after another couple of tanks.

Try logging timing (003) - any difference there?
