Gearbox was playing up, Not smooth gear changes. wasn't happy. Car will easy run high 11's once done.

Not at all. we are still playing with the setup on the car to get the best out of it.

Thinking that the car needs to go on a diet now ......

Set a 12.50 @ 115 mph terminal speed. but didn't launch that hard about 2.5k.

brett how come you can get good times when launching at so low revs? my car would bog down with the haldex set up

yeah you need at least 4k with haldex.

from launching my S4 have worked out anymore than 3.5k the clutch slips. then you have more problems with gear change from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd.
I change up from 1st to 2nd about 6k to 6.5k max, then 6.8k to 7k in every other gear.

I reckon haldex needs to see the torque plus the big turbo needs more revs to stop bogging down.

Should have a switch on the haldex to turn it off after you change up into 2nd gear....
