Can someone explain what hardware apart from the KO4's and 100cell cats/downpipes / remap is required for stage 3. Is the uprated MAF and airbox necessary and what sort of max horsepower outputs can be expected?

I'd give AMD a call or email them directly. I'm possibly planning a full RS4 upgrade with them for £3800. 10% discount for going with them for my first remap to 323bhp last year.

Now I'm thinking the real RS4 instead by the end of the year. [img]images/graemlins/yellows4.gif[/img]

AmD carried out the work on my S4 including DP's and KO4's.

I was trying to establish from RichardH what was considered a Stage 3 mod in terms of additional engine adaptations as well as the potential power and torque output.

anyone knows anything about stock S4 fueling system...
injectors.. how many HP's can they keep up with?
or instead: can I blow 1.4 all the way without worrying about running lean?

Keyser,

AMD have carried out the full range of mods from turbos only to the full RS4 conversion. i.e. RS4 injectors, fuel pump, intercoolers etc. Drop them an email.

Alternatively, Forge motor sport offer a similar conversion. They mention their own special head gasket interesting. check them out at http://www.forgemotorsport.net/RS4.asp? ... UDIRS4MISC.

Plus there's APR, AWE, Kim Collins. These guys should know. It would interested in finding out if they don't.

Oh, the best I've heard is aroung 415 Crank HP.
Some guys in the states are running High 12 1/4 miles with Stage 2+ setups.

Stage 1 - Remapped ECU
Stage 2 - add Exhaust
Stage 2+ - add Downpipes

Some guys in the states are running High 12 1/4 miles with Stage 2+ setups.

Stage 1 - Remapped ECU
Stage 2 - add Exhaust
Stage 2+ - add Downpipes

PS: I'm running high 12's too. [img]images/graemlins/nodder.gif[/img] with K04s, never luckied to do it, with K03s though. My best on K03's is ET13.14
