Removing scratches?

Post by ajsl » Thu May 04, 2006 10:56 am

Some <very harsh language> scratched the initials "SS" on my front passenger door under the wing mirror…

The scratches aren't too deep (not down to the metal) can anyone recommend any of those scratch polish repair type products? My car is metallic sliver (of that makes a difference).

If it's not a respray, then a good valeter with orbital polisher might get it out, (200 quid or so and you get the rest of the car done too!) but sounds like its beyond a tub of Scratch X...

Try these guys - post a pic and someone will give you better advice:

RS4 B5. Where it all started.
RS6+ Never to be replaced.
Replaced by: 997 Turbo. Didn't like.
Replaced by RS6. I like(d).
Land Rover Defender. Not as nippy.
Back with C6 RS6
And again C7 RS6
