Thats an aftermarket grill I think you will find.

Also, is it just me or has this car been lowered over standard?

it seems a bit lower yes...could be that the shocks are also a bit 'sitted'...

Not sure if it's been lowered although I do know that the car had the 4 wheel alignment done when the new tyres were mounted...
I live in Switzerland and the MOT over here is tighter than a ducks bottom, so the car has to be 100% straight to get through and it did so that's all o.k.

I didn't take a picture of the interior.... sorry....
The breaks felt good and solid once I got to the bitting point so maybe just a bleed should sort it?

Clutch felt reasonably light and easy to control.... especially compared to the last RS2 I tried which almost lifted me out of the seat and was a bugger in traffic!

I'm presuming a light clutch is a better?

Thanks,

Plums...

I drove AAH's RS2 and his brake pedal is very soft but that feels nice and he had his complete brake syatem replaced including bomb, my brake pedal dont travel more then 3-4'' and the bomb is due to be replaced.

very good!
the interior looks mint to me.From what you say this RS2 seems in very good condition.Light clutch is indeed better which means that indeed it has been changed(which also means that mine although now at 138K kms still running great, only a bit hard on the clutch, has to be done in the future!!)

i would buy it!

i think I will!

I just have to convince her indoors.....

which might take some doing as a tax disc over here is based on the power of the car.... over 300 bhp equals £700!!! Still could be worse....

Their selling the car for 18K Swiss francs and that's around £7000 to £7500 and that's with a 1 year warranty!

Happy days!

True; I have new fronts (big reds) and rear calipers, disks, pads, bomb, ATE fluid and a thorough bleed and there is still a bit of travel with my brake pedal before anything serious happens, but once the brakes bite they really slow you down fast and very smoothly. It may be the master cylinder(?) that is allowing the pedal to travel, I don't really know, but I am used to it and I haven't run into the bake of anything... yet.

Just tell "her indoors" that it is a nice sensible old estate car that is far more practical and cost effective than anything else you have seen, she won't get suspicious unless she gets it over 3500rpm. You'll just have to hide the tax disc or pretend you didn't know it had over 300bhp maybe you thought it was a S2 Avant or just a plain old Audi 80 Avant!!!

Sound like you should go for it (even with those stickers on the side)

her indoors knows only too well the power of the car and the price of the tax!!! She's Swiss and she sorts out all the car details for me....

Maybe flowers and chocolates might swing it ;)

The limited edition graphics are factory fit! It's under the original lacquer!

To be honest though I kinda like it... is that so bad?
