spank it and spank it good.
Why dont you buy one of those stickes that says "I eat scoobys for breakfast" and put it on the back of your car.
Dont driive about with it though. God forbid. Just so he can see it. LOL. This is war. lol
Only joking. I wish you could tape it. Would be so nice to watch.
You need to leave him standing mate, so he cant come up with no silly excuses.

I know the one you mean Brooner it was a B6 tho iirc, but he may have "upgraded" - the <beep>! This car was new but I didn't see if it was a taxi or not as I was overtaking it in busy traffic.

This one will really get you guys. I pissed myself laughing outside the late night take away shop just an hour ago. There was a silver vw polo outside. Had a full body kit on in silver, lexus lights, 17 inch alloys, and the guys name in polo style silver badge text on the back of the car underneath the vw sign. Worse of all it had an RS badge on it. I went in with my friend to the shop and there was these two young boys in there sitting down eating. Could tell it was their car as noone else was about. This guy went flat out and had the tints and the works. Ive seen some nice kitted out polos, not overly done but this was just plain stupid. The bumpers looked standard, and the skirts looked as low as you can get them and very very big. Looked awful.
Anyway, I waited outside with friend in the car. As soon as the guys finished their meal and got into the car, I let them leave, then overtook them on the inside lane. The guy came up to the lights and started reving his car like mad. I thought it was gonna break.
Lights turn green. Press the pedal. Next thing, I see him all the way back in my rear view mirror dissapearing. He must have been so gutted. Well I dont normally race people, but for that RS badge and those silly skirts, I think he deserved it. Waste of petrol really but my mate in the passenger seat said the look on his face when we left him behind was priceless.
Anyway just to add, Saw a Nissan Primera W reg I think it was and it had "KOMPRESSOR" written on the back in silver text.
What is the world coming to.!!!!

Who wasnt a wannabee when youve got the keys to your first motor.
I confess to a cosworth kitted 2.0l sierra sapphire - done professionally .It didnt have cosworth badges as thats just not done in my book- i just preferred the cosworth styling.
Tended to duck under the dashboard when i came across a real Cosworth

RE: to your neighbourg
I know what you mean - Brooner and I were picked up by a taxi from my house some time back. The taxi turned out to be a B6 A4 1.9 tdi saloon but with a S-line kit and recarros AND RS4 badges all round. Having seen this car around I was delighted when he pulled up outside my house as our RS4's were parked in the drive. WE made him wait a bit... I know..I couldn't help it
I'm no snob and have in fact driven more than my fair share of bangers not even fancy bangers but I've always wondered what the mentality of folk like that is. So I couldn't help asking him why he badged his car as an RS4 when it was clearly well short of the mark (I didn't say that). He said because he'd put a body kit and recaros on it and when folk felt the torque he thought it was special enough to pass as a RS4 - seriously deluded comes to mind.
I kind of put him in the same catagory of the never ending number of BMW drivers who feel the need to remove the badges from their car when they own anything less than a M..something. What's wrong with these folks can't they be happy with the car they have rather than trying to pass both it and them off as something else - "Nought Queer As Folk".

Does this mean I should remove my 2.7TDI badge

This is the second time now you have made reference to something dropping in price on this posting, what exactly are you referring to because your input has absolutely nothing to do with the posting.911TT_STEVO wrote:OMG! they are either dropping in price or i'm just getting old!

Hi Ya
New to the site !
And just read this post. to the point were my heart sank !
I own a A4 avant and was looking in to RS4ing it, not to the point of bastardism, but just a front bumper and some replica wheels !!
And now i dont know what to do ??? i didn't realise you guys hated stuff like that so badly !!
I would seriuosly love a RS4, but £20,000 is two years wage for me !!
Anyway great site and i love your real RS4's, guess i better have a re-think !!
Cheers Dave

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: to your neighbourg
Welcome mancy boy. Theres alot of guys on the S4 forum who have added RS4 goodies to their cars so you wouldnt be alone if you decided to do such modifications and you will find alot of good tips & info on the forum to help you on yer way if thats the path you wana go down.
I think the point is that these guys are real Audi enthusiasts (not sayin you aint) and are quite simply passionate about getting the best out of them and doing what they can to improve or bespoke their cars out of knowledge and as a bit of a hobby thus creating something truly special and unique to them, as opposed to simply slappin a false badge on, pretending and crossing their fingers hoping that joe public are sucked in. Thats the difference. Afaik these cars (S4 forum) will still carry their original badges or be debadged altogether.
