Got myself new rims today!

Post by Sql_RS4 » Sun Apr 30, 2006 12:37 am

After I failed to win an auction of MTM Bimoto rims I decided to buy something else... and have to say I LOVE this combination!

Will take some better pics tomorrow, now just a couple of dirty quick shots in the garage:

Love the wheels, not so sure about the circles
BMW 540i
2018 GTR
F90 M5
X3MC
RS3 Saloon
RS7 FL best car I've owned. No faith in turbo oil screen (turbos failing) or sticking oil scraper ring causing missfires.
F10 M5 LCI still no rear grip lol
S7 black Edition Too big and heavy
S3 8V FL DSG 310ps, road noise is a joke
RS3 8P Rubbish
C7 RS6 Fantastic car but missed playing
GTR R35 800bhp, too extreme, crazy fast though
911 Turbo Remapped. Hated it
F10 M5, awesome but no rear grip
RS6 V10 700BHP crazy
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 600bhp

Look good. I saw them on a B5 S4 some time ago and didn't like them much... much prefer them on the B5 RS4.

I'm also not too keen on the circles

Thanks guys!

The rims are OEM new RS4 wheels - 9x19 with ET29.

Decided to go with Conti SportContact2.

Sorry about that mess in the background of my pics but also thanks for nice words about the garage itself :)

As for the circles.... there was a moment I didn't have them but decided to go back... they are not that bad in real life I think...

Will take some more pics today.

Cheers!

I think for the finishing touch, this set of wheels need spacers.
For the rest it's a nice car and set of wheels.

Wheels look like they come off a BMW M3. IMHO you can't beat the standard RS4 wheels for looks.

Got to agree with RS4ever standard wheels all the way if it aint broke dont fix it and lose the circle's otherwise it might end up on BarryBoys.co.uk :ban:

MRC Stage 2+Custom Re-Map
Gutted Pre-cats + RS6 Clprs B7 Discs
Milltek exhaust Fats 3.3
Now its the Grim Reaper, if you feel a tap on your rear quarter its time..................to get out of the way.

Please lose the circles.Seriously. Everyones said it dont look nice. I think it spoils the look of the car and your car would no doubt look so much better without it.

Those wheels do look absolutely fabulous though. Good buy!!!!

I think they look ok, but definitely standard or A8 rims are the way to go.

Circles definitely have to go.
