A very individual colour, what about resale?

I have already tried to order the black optics package but my dealer rep is not sure if it will be available on the U.S. alotment of cars. Even if it does not come with the black optics pack, I will replace after I get the car.

In response to Gazzab, I think the resale value will remain higher than the grays, blacks, reds because the white option is special order and IMO the white is very classy as well as understated. I think the sprint blue, misano red, and imola yellow will suffer the biggest resale losses.

Very brave and good for you, I think it looks great, or at least will do in Colorado. I agree with you on the colours that will suffer most, although you might have to add white to that list IF it was in the UK. Stateside I think it will be fine, and look very tasty. Probably something to do with the weather... who knows, a few of them around over here and we might see white as the 'new black'...

Gorgeous, dahlink.

RSfizzy/bobjebb,

Definitely lower resale on the bright colours, the white maybe in between.

I never before took any notice of the colour of cars on the road, but after a period of observation I found black is very popular, that is in Melbourne, Australia.

i must admit that i never thought i'd like a white car (black is almost always my colour of choice ;) ), but that RS4 looks FANTASTIC in white IMO!

Wow! I want one! maybe in a couple of years.... :D

Thanks, it is nice to have the approval of your peers. It is sooooo hard to wait until I get my car. Audi of America says my car won't get here for another three months. How am I supposed to wait that long without pulling my hair out? Thanks to everyone on the forum for keeping me occupied with knowledge! :boots:

Fizzy you da man. Retro fit of black optics a must IMO and the anthracite alloys but you may have to source them direct from our German compadres.
