Solar Roof waste of time so i thought.

Anyone else got a Solar panel sunroof.

Must admit when i had the car (cancelled order) i thought the solar roof was a waste of time.

Its a really good idea and it keeps the car at a nice temperature. Should be ace if the sunshine.

It's a shame it doesn't let any light into the car though (well it didn't on the RS6 I looked at). Does it actually tilt/slide back as per a normal sunroof?

Yes Nige works as a normal sunroof.

I think its worth it. I had some trouble with it running in the winter and it misted the car up constantly. But Audi have developed a fix and it is fine now.

Just starting to feel the benefit now the weather is getting warmer

I see you are going to the ring in may are there any places left ?

I am awaiting an answer from RMA on the 1st of May but its looking doubtful.
