Good move Clive, as you can guess, my car has been their and back (it was previousley; ABTsusp, MTM chip, Milltek, Ronals etc.. )
Im gonna take it into the second round .... properly i hope as now it has:
rs4 front suspension,rs4 brakes, h&r's, rs6 rims ...... (rs4 i/c's, k04's, gttd/d/pipes, repl. heads/manifolds)
not all done yet admittedly ..... and then I will be needing fuelling to boot..... if the crank lasts... I willl be up the m40 for a custom remap to compliment .....
So if any good records are kept, they will be well worth there weight in paper  you can track its better history ... :biggrin2: -
also good for those needing to prove for insurance requirements I guess .....

Andy - yeh I was fine after I learning a very valuable(& expensive) lesson...... :drink: listen to ther little man in yr head saying stop after 2 :biggrin2:

So doing extremely vigerous excercise for over an hour whilst waiting !!!!!! must have paid of......
coz I still have my very challanged licence ... clean :bash:
The car .... good riddance ... it was cursed.... I hope its broken, very good bits, but thats all, hi-spec jobby

See register is good idea, coz that S4, after someone T-bone me in it 1yr earlier, (500yrds away from its doom!!!!!) ..... was never right, it was jigged by some cowboys..... and everytime you accelerated..... hahaha .........it creaked on the A post...... so regardless of the thousands that went into it before i stuffed it... it was <beep>.!!!!
Roll on Clive ..... your cue ... is it ready yet ... :biggrin3:

Sorry Simon - no offence intended - you're obviously not old enough to remember the "beam me up Scotty" line from Star Trek...!

Go for it Clive.

If you decide what details you want (perhaps JohnW can help with that?) then post a new thread requesting them I will make it a sticky. Clearly the details should be PM'd to you, anything posted publicly will be removed.

Thoughts...

Post by CliveH » Thu Apr 13, 2006 9:56 pm

Right then guys, here are my thoughts, before we go "live" :

Purpose of the register
The purpose of the Register is to build up a record of S4 ownership in the UK for the benefit of both existing and potential owners.

Rules of conduct
All information received from participators in the Register will be assumed to be provided in good faith and free from material error.

The information received from participators will be entered into the register as received, but neither RS246.com nor the maintainer of the Register will be responsible for any errors or omissions.

Although not subject to the provisions of the Data Protection Act, the information will be treated as if it is, i.e. the information you provide will be kept secure and will not be disclosed to a third party unless :

• we have your permission; or
• we are required to by law.

Enquirers into the Register will be required to complete an enquiry form stating the reasons for their enquiry and requesting their confirmation that they will treat any information disclosed as confidential.

Information disclosed to enquirers will be kept to the minimum in order to satisfy their enquiry into the vehicle.

Is it just the time of day that makes me think that's hilarious ? :)

Seriously though, great post Clive.

Does anyone have a finite list of factory extras?

Perhaps add: shortshifter to mods list?
