MTM style wheels

Post by CliveH » Sun Apr 09, 2006 11:11 am

In order not to "hijack" the "Pics of Imola S4's" thread (especially as there are already a number of "tangents"on there), it seems the best solution is to start a new one.

This quote is taken from that thread :-

So, Woody - did you buy these wheels? Are they the RS007's? How do they compare weight wise?

Why "clearly will be heavier" Maxximus? The MTM wheels are considerably heavier than the equivalent OEM.

As far as I can see from the photo's, these 2 pics of rims are pretty much identical except for the ebay rims do not have the mtm logo cast in the spoke,
@Clive-Which are also similar to the sportec's, so would be good to see if they fall lighter than 30kg ... each (was it kg's or Ilbs on sportec's..?)
They look good on the imola saloon ....
Simon you got on the scales yet ....

I agree David - they look excellent - I will be interested to hear about quality and weight. I think the weights of the wheels quoted on the other threads were in lbs - 30kg is very heavy!

They look identical to the hartmann rs4 dtm reps that are popular in the states. Search on Audiworld for them.
