Paypal scam?

Got this email today - seems like a scam to me...(I didnt add any accounts)

Dear Customer:

You have recently Added the below email to your account:
ripper@mail.com
If you did not request this change of email, just click on the link below. You will be asked to enter your PayPal Online ID and passcode and Confirm your Confidential Information you have with us on record and the added e-mail will be automatically deleted and account restored.

Log on to your paypal directly (don't ever use the links in these emails) and have a look at the account. Almost certainly a scam....if you hover your mouse pointer over the llink you'll see what the link really is.

As Jeff says, it's more than likely a scam. If you're still unsure, forward it to your work address and see what happens :)

Paypal say that they never will ask for personal and/or confidential information through e-mails therefore im certain its a scam. As dave says, forward it to the fraud department.

In addition any e-mail from paypal will use your paypal/ebay id .... instead of "Dear Customer" it will say "Dear <userid>".

But as mentioned above log onto your paypal/ebay account directly.
