Anybody got TMC working on a RNS-E? In my case RS4(B7) it is crossed out with a diagonal line.

Have you got the right country setup? Can you get Classic FM?

RE: TMC
Phil, Classic FM is fine.. but when you direct the TMC where to get its information from nothing is there (not even Classic FM).
I just wondered if anybody with a B7 had TMC functional.

RE: TMC
Geoff, for audi's sat nav system you need to contact Teleatlas for their latest TMC enabled disc. TMC works fine in the B5.

RE: TMC
TMC for B7's (RNS-E - DVD disk) is not available yet in the UK. It will work in europe. No licensed disk availble yet from Audi or anyone else.
We have the 2006, 2006_1 and neither of them have TMC.

RE: TMC
Thanks Craig,
I have DVD disc 2006.
Is that is it then? Audi simply have not bothered to pay a licence fee? It is pretty poor from a consumer point of view when you buy a £50K + car and the TMC doesn't work - this was not the case on my B5 and BMW seem to have it sorted!!!!
I guess that this is not unique to teh RS4 then an in fact any Audi with an RNS-E will not have TMC... Come on Audi - what are you playing at?

RE: Re: RE: TMC
TMC has been released for the A6 & A8 MMI, but audi UK are still having problems updating cars with that disk too, it seems they cause problems when flash updating cars built before Week 45 2005, seems like a hardware issue to me. All updates are on hold until Audi UK sort this issue out.
As for the A3,A4 & A6 RNS-E users, well it seems they will just have to wait until Audi release the DVD disk with TMC enabled for the UK

How do you think an £80K A8 driver feels?
