In real day to day situations in UK rain etc quattro surely is better?

Riz - dont you remember when Autocar beat the S4 with an M3 in the wet on a track :)

The M3 and CSL are very sorted cars, my cousin has a M3 and its one rapid motor car. Was considering a CSL apart from the RS4 but ive always loved the subtle "S" / "RS" looks... plenty of room inside for what I need and nice safe 4wd handling, ok perhaps its not a drivers car compared to the BMW M cars but again both still sell in shed loads....

Mmmmm

I would keep your B5 RS4 Phil, I love it to bits :)

Ive always loved the B5 RS4, always wanted one.. for me the RS cars have not been diluted 100%, when the are made in mass numbers like the M cars and until I see RS4`s as common as the M3`s I still think that RS cars are still exclusive and more limited than M`s offerings.

Cant wait to get mine.... wooohoooo
