I had to go to to meeting in docklands yesterday [img]images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] I hate that place but coming back on the squashed SAR spreading train coming back I overheard two 'suits' talk bollocks about cars.

Suit bloke A says "how your V6 Golf?" I assume he meant an R32 but he was quite big so I wasn't about to correct him. "Oh well cool" says suit number 2. "Just got it back from the tuning company at its kicking out 270bhp!"

Anyone heard of this? Which tuner is modding R32's I thought the V6 was tough to get any more out of? Chins has an R32 so I know he'd be keen to see if it was possible and by who.

Mind you it could all be complete bollocks, there were city suits after all [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Apart from that the earlier V6 Golfs could be supercharged so maybe that's it, not sure expected outputs though

Alledgedly AMD can get the R32 via ECU remap to 270bhp and 270lb/ft - thats the word on the street

If its true I'm surprised they can offer this for (alledgedly) £850+VAT which includes a Catback exhaust. how come its 850+VAT for an S3 remap only?

VW do the V6 4Motion as well - not sure you could get 270bhp out of it unless you fit a supercharger or use NOS! Could be 'pub figures' they were talking about [img]images/graemlins/beerchug.gif[/img]
