Just got a insurance quote

Have been worrying about what the insurance would be for the RS4. So thought i'd get a quick quote. Due to a speeding convictin and my post code. On my TT i couldnt get cheaper than £1200. Just did a quick check with directline who arnt the cheapest and got a quote for £1350. To say im pleased is a understatement

I know its all down to individual circumstances etc but had a similar experience.

Those prices are horrendous. I was offered £450 odd with directline. I am 33 and my wife is 26. Must be the postcode. The S4 is £420

i get more difference with % BHP increase , these are figures i randomly picked out of my head for example sake ,, so a modified say +50hp rs6 500hp example could be £1500 , an s3 say + 200hp modified to 425hp could be £3000+ i guess it makes sense the less modification less that can go wrong

Your telling me ive got full no claims. Now 30. Work in a office doing clerical stuff , so i put down clerical. And i get those sort of prices. My TT is currently insured by Elephant and i tried about 20 insurance companies and they were the cheapest. Ive got 2 insurance policies both with full no claims and i still get hit up the rear end. So it has to be postcode. But i dont know a single person where i live that has ever had their car vandalised or stolen So a quote off £1350 is quite pleasing and its cheap to what i was expecting.

Called my usual broker & they quoted me £1450.

My wife and I are both 30. I claimed 2 years ago when my VW Golf 4-Motion was nicked.

They reckon that's not bad for £52k motor. I've told them to keep searching as I don't really want to pay more than £999.
