When does the fever pass?

Post by Crusty » Mon Mar 27, 2006 8:25 pm

I have only owned my S4 for a couple of weeks and am driving it like a f***ing c***, overtaking everyone, then diving in at the last moment to take the corner as fast as I can!

I am forty years old and last drove like this in my teens when I had an Alfasud. How long will it be before any sort of normality returns (or I lose my licence)?

Very worried.

I find soothing music and playing the 'game' of how many mpg i can get slows me down for a bit......
Then some oik overtakes me :FIREdevil:

Or you could take the wife everywhere with you. Constant screaming/nagging will soon take the required effect!! :bash:
Tomorrow is another day

Since I fitted a boost gauge I play how little boost I can use lol

Apart from the occasional blat I think I'm more considerate in the Audi than I was in my golfs...perhaps I felt I had a little more to prove back then.

I am suffering similar side effects. Not even been a week yet... week tomorrow evening!

Loving it though... being bright yellow and sounding like a drag car on E on the road it gets all sorts of attention! Loving it :P

Quite right though - get your Mrs in the car. I love the idea of the MPG game - that was rather amusing!

I agree with DavidT - not long!

I'm surprised Dippy hasnt been along yet to point out that RS246.com does not condone such driving on public roads...

There was no mention of exceeding speed limits - perhaps he was suggesting driving to the limits of the law and not beyond. I know that is what I meant - CLEARLY.

I'm sure that's what you meant, ZeroK66, but of course you don't have to exceed speed limits to "drive like a f***ing c***" as Crusty so eloquently puts it.

There certainly isn't, as long as it's safe to do so, but I think I've made my point - "driving within the limits of the law" is not just about speed limits

Crusty - probably when you collect around 9 points on your licence or hit something!
