I have followed your instructions and re-read the original post and indeed the first post of this thread by MattC, and can confirm that I do and indeed did understand the spirit in which it waqs written. I take it he is also aware of

the consequences of publishing photos which are treated as top secret by Audi, especially when we have their unquestioning support for the site.

Wow, I wish I had not bothered,

Simple 1, picture removal etc is only restrictued to visitors, including Audi staff visiting for traing reasons, not factory or development staff. The pictures I am trying to find are general release pictures issued in the factory tour packs.

The B7 production facility was new in December 2005 and is very normal / standard compaired to any normal line. Its a very hands on line very little automation.

But I guess you knew that.

This thread reminds me of the last trip RS246 took to Neckarsulm when opinions were being sought over the direction we wanted the next (now current) RS4 to take. We were treated to some extraordinary unusual sights on that trip too, including a Turkish spanner monkey sleeping off an Ouzo overdose inside a Gallardo shell on air jacks!

Now where did I put that picture? Surprising how spacious it is inside a Gallardo with no engine or interior.............
