Wheels aligned - now pulls to the left :-(

Post by david7m » Fri Mar 10, 2006 10:30 pm

Had my car lazer aligned today, but it now pulls to the left when the wheel is straight

http://rs246.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB ... 668#101668

I took it back, and I got fobbed off with some story about the alignment is 'bang on', maybe your new tyres need spinning around on the rims!

Had two new tyre's lunchtime, and it drove to STS Wheel Alignment perfect. Had the wheels aligned, now doesn't........

Any advise?

Cheers.

Do you have the before and after printouts? Who did it? Was it using Beissbarth? I had mine done (don't laugh) at Wayside VW in MK on Friday - spot on work and great service.

STS did it in Bedford :x

I have the before and after print outs at home, I will get post the figures later.

I may go to VW or Audi in Bletchley myself, its closer than Bedford anyway :)

What annoyed me the most is the fact they have blamed how the tyres were fitted and now they have implied that it was like that before they did anything! Even if it was (which it wasn't) surely they are supposed to correct it, afterall, thats why I paid them to do

Clived, just rang VW for a price, they want over £260 ... "because it involves 2.5 hours labour ..."

Is this right? Or has the lady on the service counter not understood what I have aksed for?
