RS4 Cloth Bucket Seats + Pictures!

Post by Riz_RS4 » Sun Mar 12, 2006 12:53 pm

Got asked by a member about the cloth seats for the RS4 and the question has been asked before, ive done some digging and managed to find some pictures of these seats. Hope they help.

I personally feel that leather is always a must in a high end car like the RS4 and its not difficult to keep clean, just use some AutoGylm leather cleaning spray.

The cloth seats will hide their age more and possibly more hard wearing but they dont look "good" in my opinion.

Anyway here are the pictures so you can make your minds up.

Riz :D

Riz,

Thanks for these pics. The cancelled order I am looking at has these and I'm just not sure - it was the only thing on the spec that was niggling and it still is.

Well mmmm cant you take a look? is it the cancelled order a Gilders - Sheffield? If they have the car at the dealership I could get somemore pictures if you let them know.

Car is a month out and not sure who it is with yet, info is via a broker. I have heard there is one at Gilders in Shefflied, maybe I will call them and take a drive up.

cheers,

Ring in advance for the Sheffiled one as it wasnt on show, so could be off-site.

Also dont pay over list via a broker, you can still find some out there by doing abit of ringing around.

Is this the same as the 'Hi-tec cloth' in the B5 RS? (which personally I thought looked good)

Is the same as Hi tech, more than happy with the B5 tech so went the same route again. Leather is nice but you tend to slide on it even with 'figure hugging' seat  Would love Alcantera but is not an option.
Also chose the carbon interior, glad I did as the 'demo' car at Millhouse had ally and was a bit too bling for my taste.

No, race cloth is not the same as Hitec on the B5 although it's the same idea. IMHO Hitec is nicer but race cloth is far better than full leather. It looks really good.
