why was so much work done on such a low milage car at the time. nether the less i wish i had the funds at this moment in time to buy, i also luv those seats. look like rs4/6 seats.

From what I can gather from Audi, the previous owner damaged the sump causing it to lose its oil.

He then (stupidly!) continued to drive it to a safe place therefore damaging the engine. The whole lot was replaced by Parklands Audi, both turbo's, blocks, heads etc etc at a parts cost of £11,500!!

It was not involved in an RTA nor does it have any V23 markers, warnings, listings on HPi etc. As Ive stated the engine is now perfect and has been for over 60,000 miles!!
