Can I get a RS4 now: Yes or no?

Hi,

I test drove the RS4 today and was very impressed. Excellent power, excellent grip and the car does not feel like a 1700kg saloon.

I keep reading different things about the availability. The dealer quoted me delivery in 6+ months. Also gave me some salesmans patter about there only being 500 RS4s being made FULL STOP. After that production would stop. I'm sure thats nonsense.

Are there dealers/brokers that can get me a car in the next few months? I am open on colours but need the Recaros and Satnav package.

Yes you can get one immediately.... or almost immediately (2 weeks or so). Look through some of the threads on here and you'll find a fair few available. If you do a search on the autotrader website, you'll also find a few brokers with them available.

When you say you need the recaro's and sat nav, be careful, because the seats with the electric bolsters are the standard RS4 seats, NOT the recaro's. Recaro's are available, but do not have the electric bolsters that operative with the sport button.

Thanks. I've seen the advert for these brokers on autotrader but wasn't sure if they were 'straight up' and whether the cars were UK ie with 3 year warranty or 'euro' ie 2 year warranty.

I defo want the recaros. The car I test drove had the buckets and though they look great I find them a little uncomfortable. I sat in the s4 and much preferred the seats. Are the RS4 recaros similar to the s4 seats?

Whats your thoughtd on sports suspension? Will it improve the car or be unsuitable for UK roads?
