RS6 - EPC light and traction won't turn off

Hello and good day everyone,
I've recently bought a used, stage 2 RS6
I've been a huge fan of them but never found the right car until now
So, the car was in the showroom for a while and after I bought it.
The car is a 2015 RS6 with 50k kms on it (in the Gcc countries, it was still pre-facelift)
Issue 1: as soon as I drove off, an EPC light popped up and restricted the revs to 4000 RPM, restarted the car that night and it was fine
Went for a second drive that evening, and after driving it for a little bit it popped back on, then went off on its own without shutting the car down
Speculation: I thought it might've been due to the car sitting for a while, and maybe the battery is weak. So I took it for a long drive and things seem to be normal, will know more in the near future I guess.
Or am I missing something?
Issue 2: the traction does not turn off
I press the button, the traction light does light up on the dash, as soon as I let go, it turns off. Tried holding it for a while and it did not do anything different
Speculation: diff issue?
I raised the car up, put it in drive, and all 4 tires were turning. I also glanced at the ABS speed sensors visually. Nothing seems to be disconnected or loose, and no wires seemed to be damaged.
I thought I'd ask on the forums to see if anyone faced a similar issue, and would point me in the right direction as to what to do or inspect.
Thank you all
