No surprise on the air filter, the original one is pretty good. I think it will only start to make a difference once you are running much higher power like on a stage 2 tune. I'd be more interested to see a stage 2 car do a run with a standard and aftermarket filter for comparison. Also, do any of the tuners use a pipercross when they carry out stage 2 tunes? Don't recall seeing anyone using the pipercross one.
Centre resonator is just for noise so I'd expect little to no change for that one too. When will you be doing that?

Not surprised! But grateful for the video proving it!
Damn right shameful of Audi not doing the service work though! I think I’ll be security marking mine!
And look forwards to the resonator delete.

I've already got the resonator removed, and the "before" videos filmed. It made a great difference to the sound. I just need to get the dyno done - likely start of October. I'll film again when I get the little pre-resonator pipes done, then the cats, and then finally with no mufflers on the back like a proper hooligan

The little pre-resonators are officially called 'front resonators' on the Audi parts list. Not sure how much difference the front ones will make as i had my front and centre removed at the same time (valves disconnected so permanently open). Sounded much better than stock.
Cats will make a nice difference to sound and power (but will most likely need a remap if going decat).

Ah cool, have you been on a long drive since having it removed? If so how did it sound for extended periods of time
Craig.

Interested how many hp would give Miltek none resonated exhaust with stock Downpipes)

I've been on a few, including towing and in the Comfort mode it's barely louder than stock. It's too quiet for my tastes, so now I'm looking at downpipes

It will be negligible. If you want more power from exhaust you need decat or sports cat.
That’s true Mike)

That’s cool to know. I do some long drives. Fully loaded with bikes on the roof. And quite often get held at around 50 on the feistier roads that plonkers dither on. And after 6-8hrs of driving drone becomes annoying! Not mention how the dogs must feel in the boot
