Sorry 2nd question, how do you keep the exhaust flaps open all the time, I have
The engine sound set to dynamic but they only seem to open when in sport mode, or accelerating around2500-3000 rpm. I have been told to take the fuse out , is this right and where is it.

Thanks

There was something on the rs4 forum about using clips around the tubing that opens the valves. The tubing being in the boot floor somewhere. Not sure if same for rs6?

Can't you just leave the car set in individual & have the exhaust setting at Dynamic and then everything else how you want it, comfort or auto for example?

I have the car set in that mode, when you select sports mode it still is noticeably louder.

Same as the OP has said, doesnt really matter what settings you have the exhasut flaps seem to randonly close, combined with the cylinder deactivation kicking in it can sound like 3 different car at once! I will be looking into it too as its a bit annoying.

Just looked under the car electronic valves on these exhausts so can't just be a vacuum of job.

Got to be worth a try as it's easily put back if it does cause a problem.
I'm going to give it a go when I pick mine up next week.
